Company History
Zalco has been in business for 36 years. Established in 1971, Zalco has grown from a small suburban company into one of the premier full-service real estate firms in the Washington Metropolitan area. Headquartered at THE ZALCO BUILDING in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, Zalco has established and continues to maintain standards of excellence in residential and commercial property management, leasing and financial services as well as asset management. Currently, we manage over 135 communities in the Washington Metropolitan Area, with an aggregate property value of approximately $3,500,000,000. Zalco’s operations include over 575 on-site personnel, plus another 65 executive, management and administrative staff at our main office.
