Company History

The Management Group, Inc. (TMG) is a property management and real estate services firm doing business in Washington and Oregon since 1985. Carmen R. Villarma, President & founder, is an active part of the organization along with Denise Dunkle, Senior Vice President, Rebecca Blaisdell, VP of Residential Services, and Nancy Bonander, Senior Vice President Emeritus.

TMG opened its doors in 1985 with 2 employees, Carmen Villarma & Nancy Bonander. Managing single-family homes was TMG’s specialty. TMG experienced incredible growth, taking on other types of property management. In 1990, TMG purchased the property management division of Expert Realty Associates (ERA) and added apartment and commercial management to the ever-growing portfolio. In 1993, the Pacific Business Center became TMG’s new home; an in-house maintenance department was added along with another management department, association management. By 1996, the company had become the largest property management firm in SW Washington and had just taken its association management services to Oregon. The quality of the properties and the service continues to set TMG apart from its competitors.

Today TMG is expanding business throughout the Metropolitan area. We recently expanded our Portland, OR Association division location to double in size. Our innovative technology keeps us ahead of our competitors and continues to drive the industry in our area to a new level.
