Roxborough Park Foundation
Company Overview
Roxborough Park Foundation is a common interest community and self-managed Homeowners Association formed in 1971. This serene residential area of about 1,000 homes is located at the edge of the Rocky Mountain foothills in rural Douglas County, Colorado. The natural beauty of the massive red rock formations in and around Roxborough Park, extensive private road system, community center amenities, multiple private parks and private trails, abundant and diverse wildlife and a large adjacent state park are only a few reasons families are so passionate about this neighborhood. As a self-managed HOA, the office and maintenance teams work under the direction of the Foundation’s General Manager.
Company History
Roxborough Park Foundation was formed in 1971 as part of a Large-Scale Development Plan and comprises 1,058 lots. While approximately 90% of the community is built out, there is still construction activity ongoing to this day. The extent of the Foundation’s involvement in such construction is only from the point of view of design and architectural approval.
The primary purposes of the Foundation as stated in its Articles, are to promote, foster and advance the health, safety and welfare of the residents, to provide for administration and maintenance, and to operate and manage the Property and Common Area included within Roxborough Park. The Common Area includes approximately 20 miles of private roadways, side streets and cul-de-sacs, and such maintenance activities include snow plowing, striping, repairs and repaving as well as the provision and maintenance of signage, guardrails and speed monitoring devices.

Entry to the Foundation is by way of a 24-hour manned guard station, with a resident-only lane and a guest-visitor-contractor lane at which point details of the visitor, vehicle, destination and purpose of visit are recorded.
