Description

Sentry Management is an industry leader in community association management. As a result of our continued growth, we are currently seeking an Executive Director with a strong entrepreneurial drive, outstanding communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and good planning and organizational skills. The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the prominent community of Celebration, FL. The Executive Director must cultivate and maintain many important relationships for the association including working with Disney, Osceola County and others, and provide service deliverables while managing effective and fiscally sound operations.

Executive Director duties Include

  • Oversee the complete operation of the association in accordance with the direction established by the board
  • Communicate and implement the association’s vision, mission, and overall direction
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the association, especially related to financial standing
  • Set the strategic direction of the association and monitor progress and growth
  • Support association initiatives and general operations
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility with the association and the board 
  • Provide accurate analysis of budgets, reports, financial trends, and operational procedures
  • Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures that will improve operational and financial effectiveness
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sentry Management home office, local management, and the board
  • Represent the association through civic and professional responsibilities and activities in the local community
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with local community leaders and municipal services
  • Mentor and interact with team members at all levels to foster growth and encourage development 
  • Recruit, select, train and manage the performance of on-site leaders
  • Assist with escalated requests as needed
  • Assist and lead in organizing and spearheading interaction with the home office to resolve operational issues
  • Lead and facilitate all annual and budget meetings, board meetings, and other meetings as required
  • Review issues and look for solutions to obstacles or gaps in service
  • Respond promptly to employee or community needs and step in to assist with difficult situations
  • Solicit employee and board feedback to improve overall service

Executive Director Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • MBA or MPA preferred, or similar advanced degree
  • 5-10 years of industry experience preferred
  • 5–10-years of  leadership experience required
  • CAM license preferred
  • Previous project management experience preferred
