As an integral part of a collaborative team, the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Coordinator will report directly to the Community Manager, assisting in the administration of internal programs for the Genesee Foundation with a focus on supporting the Architectural Review Committee and our covenant enforcement processes. The ARC Coordinator will execute the ARC application process based on the current ARC standards and governing documents and prepare documents for the ARC meetings.

 The Genesee Foundation, a self-managed homeowners’ association located in the foothills of Jefferson County, Colorado, is seeking a dynamic, personable, self-motivated, Architectural Review Committee Coordinator.

 Genesee is a community of 885 homes that exists in harmony with the area's mountain setting. The property incorporates 1,200 acres of dedicated open space, 12 miles of hiking trails, forest land, and abundant wildlife. Amenities include three clubhouses, one playground, two outdoor pools, four tennis courts, a well-equipped fitness center, 2 pickle ball courts, and private drives.

 Essential Job Functions & General Responsibilities


  • Perform internal administrative including but not limited to:

  • all ARC related duties including explaining process and standards to volunteers, residents and hired professionals

  • Processing paperwork for all submittals

  • Preparing agendas, attending, and processing minutes for ARC meetings

  • Telephone inquiries, maintaining resident files and follow up items relating to covenant enforcement, ARC submittals and any ARC meetings.

  • Attending pre meetings and regular meetings

  • Coordinate all covenant enforcement activities, including pro-active covenant property tours, processing complaints, processing files and tracking compliance.

  • Working directly and congenially with residents regarding their submittals and any compliance issues.

  • Front office assistance - answering phones, greeting residents.

  • Participate in all employee safety programs and conduct business in such a manner that it will comply with local, state and federal regulations.

  • Assist in special projects as requested

  • Help staff occasional weekend community events such as 4th of July (2 per year required)


Working Conditions

Material and equipment directly used: Personal computer including Office 365, Google, various cloud-based software.  Working environment: Office environment, heavy public interaction.  Multiple projects and priorities, detail oriented. 


Preferred Job Qualifications

  • People person! Ability and desire to work with a variety of people and personalities in order to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Prior experience working within an HOA, with volunteers, committees and/or in a customer service environment.
  • Enjoy communicating effectively, respectfully, and patiently in both oral and written communications.
  • Two-Three years in administrative work with heavy public contact.
  • Prior experience with record keeping and detail work.
  • Previous Community Association Experience highly desired.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly. Programs include Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Google Docs and Sheets, property management software, Zoom.
  • Notary a plus or openness to get certified

Required Job Qualifications

  • A college degree or 3 years direct customer service experience.
  • Current Colorado Driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • As this is a mountain community, a vehicle that that is AWD or 4WD required.
